In my last blog, I talked about the need to keep pushing no matter how difficult the circumstances are. When it comes to the effort towards achieving the goal you set for yourself, there are no other options. If you have achieved your goal, you know what it took to get there. You worked hard, and made some sacrifices along the way. Congratulations are in order. You remained committed and achieved your desired goal. You’re probably asking yourself now what? Or where do I go from here? The question you should be asking is: Do I want to be great? Of course, you do. Who doesn’t? As a result, it’s time to set another goal to strive for and keep pushing forward. But what if you haven’t achieved your goal yet? Do you stop trying? Absolutely not! Bruce Lee said that a goal is not always meant to be reached. It simply serves as something to aim at. Whether or not, you have achieved your goal, you must make your strive for excellence a daily routine. No matter how difficult things become and they will, remain positive and committed. Do what it takes to overcome barriers along the way. Make these traits part of who you are. You got this! Realize that setting a goal is a way to generate motivation and commitment towards achieving your goal. A goal provides a starting point towards the direction we want to go. When you achieve your goal, it provides you with a sense of achievement that no one else can match. If you have achieved a goal, you know what I am talking about. That sense of achievement is unparalleled. Goals give your life purpose and meaning. Set a goal, repeat it to yourself daily, tell someone about your goal and go out there and get it!
