Injury Healing Acceleration and Coping Techniques
Athletes inevitably sustain injuries during the course of their training or during competition. I’ve been there as well, sustaining two separate knee injuries, a partially torn Achilles tendon and a hernia, all requiring surgery to repair them. What you may not know is that studies have demonstrated that mental training during rehabilitation is effective and accelerates the healing process while providing the added benefit of coping skills for pain and anxiety. I’ll provide you with mental techniques to assist you with your healing so you can return to training or competing sooner and with a renewed sense of confidence.
